We're heading down to Kansas City, MO from February 15th-19th for the Folk Alliance International Conference! This year's theme of "Forbidden Folk: Celebrating Activism in Art" is serendipitous to say the least and has helped to attract an all-star lineup of musicians and special guests including Billy Bragg, Kris Kristofferson, Paula Cole, Megan Mullally and Ani DiFranco. Eliza Gilkyson will be presenting the Clearwater Award to the Clearwater Festival recognizing their environmental stewardship in event production during the International Folk Music Awards Show on Wednesday, February 15th.
Eliza will be performing and teaching throughout the weekend as will labelmates Bill Kirchen, whose Red House debut Transatlanticana came out in 2016 and blues groove master Ray Bonneville.
