Ray Bonneville, known as the "master of the slow burn" (Ottawa Citizen) has reached the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Competition for his song "Darlin' (Put Your Suitcase Down)" from his album Easy Gone. Bill Kirchen and Austin de Lone are about to head out to the UK for a tour behind their latest record, Transatlanticana. The Titan of the Telecaster and the Godfather of British Pub Rock recently stopped by the Relix Magazine offices for an exclusive performance of their twanged out version of Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changin'" from Transatlanticana.

Dale Watson hosts the Ameripolitan Awards

The Austin Chronicle has called him “the silver pompadoured, baritone beltin’, Lone Star beer drinkin’, honky-tonk hell raiser.” Now Red House’s very own Dale Watson will be hosting the fourth annual Ameripolitan Awards with Ray Benson on February 15th in Austin, TX. Founded in 2014 by Dale Watson himself, the Ameripolitan Awards celebrate the best artists in Honky-tonk, Outlaw Country, Rockabilly, and Texas Swing music.

The success of Bromberg’s debut album with Red House Records comes as no surprise, continuing an outstanding career spanning almost 50 years. Hot Tuna Featuring Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady

Hot Tuna, featuring Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famers Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady will hit the road this summer, joining the Tedeschi Trucks Band on their Wheels of Soul Summer Tour beginning on July 1st in Gilford, New Hampshire. The Tedeschi Trucks Band's annual summer tour will swing through many of the country’s leading outdoor venues throughout the east coast, midwest, and southwest states. The Wailin' Jennys recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of their first gig on January 18th. What started in the little Winnipeg guitar shop Sled Dog Music has turned into one of folk music's most beloved trios.
