We're excited to announce the February 26th release of August Love Song, the brand new collaborative album between The Wailin' Jennys' impeccable vocal stylist Heather Masse and trombone maverick Roswell Rudd. After meeting on A Prairie Home Companion, the two discovered they had a strong musical connection and that they were neighbors in the Catskills of rural New York! Weekly jam sessions in Rudd's living room became the impetus of August Love Song and the free-and-easy feel of the sessions are captured on this collection of standards and originals.
Roswell will be celebrating his 80th birthday on Sunday, November 15th at le Poisson Rouge in New York City and Heather will be there to share the stage with him! Tickets are available here!
