The Billboard charting songwriter Michael Johnson passed away on July 25th at the age of 72 after a long illness. Johnson gained notariaty for his hits "Bluer Than Blue" and "The Moon Is Still Over Her Shoulder," but his fluid guitar playing and wry sense of humor made him a staple of the folk circuit. We are proud to have worked with him on his 2012 album Moonlit Déjà Vu, which was his first recording in over a decade.
